World Diabetes Day 2015 Campaign Launch

World Diabetes Day is celebrated annually on November 14. It was created by the International Diabetes Federation (IDF) and the World Health Organization (WHO) to raise awareness of the growing health threats related to diabetes.

This year's campaign launched at the World Health Assembly in Geneva, where the IDF launched The Framework for Action on Sugar, which encourages politicians to take action to reduce sugar consumption that increases rates of obesity and diabetes.
